Join me as I fold the laundry and lament on how I’ve learned
that keeping to my habits is the most important thing for me (only
working within school day, getting to sleep by 8.30pm etc) in order
to keep my equilibrium and avoid burnout. The irony that it’s
9.30pm as I recorded this podcast (ie was working) is not lost on
me!
.
Continuing on the path of self development whilst trying not to
fall into my old story of believing I need to do everything
perfectly, is a lesson I continue to explore and trip up on.
.
Learning to slow down as life fills up and my business scales up is
a lesson I continue to work on grasping.
.
Recognising that responding to inspiration whenever it strikes
leads time and time again to burn out, which continues to take a
good week to recover from, and continues to be on my list of things
to conquer.
.
As a creative, it feels awful to ignore the call of inspiration.
But I’m not loving overwhelm or burnout much so let’s try a new
approach.. the 20 Mile March. I’ve said I’d try it this week and
then forgot to make a point of actually doing it.
All these things I lay bare in my podcast to share the journey
behind these little squares. To show the human behind the brand. To
share my aha’s and my oh-dears. To celebrate the wins and be honest
about the fears.
.
I hope you enjoy joining me on my journey of entrepreneurship,
creative living and waking up.
